PSC SG853R Big Bore XD Cylinder Assist Steering Gear, Dodge RAM 2500/3500 (03-08)

The PSC BIG BORE XD® Cylinder Assist® Steering Gear (SG853R) is a heavy-duty, brand-new replacement for the factory steering box on 2003-2008 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 trucks. It is built to fix the sloppy feel and the well-known “Dodge steering wander” that the factory box can’t keep up with, and it bolts right in.

PSC took inspiration from Mopar’s “Big Box” and made it better: bigger bearings, beefier internals and zero core charge. Swap it in, hook up your factory lines and Pitman arm, and you’re back on the road with steering that feels tight and confident. The SG853R version is ported for PSC Cylinder Assist.
