Core Charge & Core Returns

Refundable Core Charges

Some remanufactured and performance parts (injectors, torque converters, transmissions, cylinder heads) carry a refundable core charge. The core charge is shown as its own line in your cart and on your invoice, and it's refunded after your old part (the "core") is returned and approved.

How it works

  1. Return within 30 days of your invoice date. Cores returned later may not be accepted.
  2. Use the original box your new part came in, and include all manufacturer core paperwork and tags plus the Core Return Form below.
  3. Tell us before you ship. Email the completed Core Return Form and your tracking number to returns@crossroadgaragellc.com. We'll confirm the correct return address. Most cores ship directly to the manufacturer's core department.
  4. Inspection and credit. The manufacturer inspects every core. Once it's received and approved, we refund the core charge to your original payment method.

Deductions

  • The core must be like-for-like with the part purchased (same type and part number, complete and rebuildable).
  • If components are missing, damaged beyond rebuild, or not like-for-like, the manufacturer may reduce or deny the credit, and we'll refund the approved amount.
  • Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. If a prepaid return label is provided, its cost may be deducted from the core refund.

Warranty is not a core return. If you have a warranty issue, don't send a core form. Contact us for a warranty return instead.

Core Return Form

Cores must be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, in the original box. Email this form and your tracking number to returns@crossroadgaragellc.com before shipping; we'll confirm the return address.
